The BFree team has extensive experience leading Teacher Training Programs globally. Our teachers will effectively train you through strong guidance of each yoga posture, utilizing different teaching and learning styles, as well as addressing learning challenges and individual needs. Stephanie Schestag has been a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years and has been teaching for over 12 years. She has earned her teaching certificates in Bikram Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga.
Balwan Singh Native to India and a certified yoga teacher, Balwan has been directly involved in training yoga teachers globally for the past 6 years. Coming from an engineering background Balwan has a scientific approach to yoga.
Sharon Clerkin has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She received her 500 hour teacher certification in 2009. Sharon’s approach to teaching is clean and simple: “to do your best, work hard, with emphasis on alignment, structure and consistency.”
Kathy Dolin, B.A. Exercise Science, certified as a Bikram yoga instructor in 2003. As a faculty member at Bikram’s Yoga College of India, she taught anatomy/phsiology in the teacher training program from 1999-2007. A practicing massage therapist for 30 years, and HLB practitioner since 2008, Kathy loves studying the body, mind and spirit. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her academic knowledge,and show how it can be applied to enhance the practice of Yoga.
DR. DANIEL DARYOUSH SADIGH
Dr. Daniel Daryoush Sadigh has experienced an array of challenges within a lifetime of education and practical training. He witnessed multidimensional effects of psychological suffering in different settings and noticed the need for specific attention to mental health over the three decades before he integrated a mind-body approach to healing and well-being.
Shawni has been passionately teaching yoga since 2002 upon her return from a deep journey of learning in India. Yoga was never just a workout for Shawni - it was her path to awakening and liberation. After a lot of studying with different teachers and searching for the lineage where she would find home, she was finally initiated into the Sri Vidya tradition in 2011 by her teacher Yogarupa Rod Stryker.
Meredith Klein is a whole foods chef and mindfulness teacher who is passionate about helping individuals to experience radical transformation through the practices of meditation and healthy, conscious eating. She is the founder of Pranaful, leads workshops and retreats focused on nutrition, meditation and mindful eating, and prepares food for yoga retreats around the world, in addition to cooking for private clients around Los Angeles.
Kari Jaffe teaches at Bikram Yoga Marina del Rey since she graduated from training in Spring 2013. She is the creator of a local after school yoga program, Practice not Perfect, which is coming up on it's fourth year! She is always searching and striving to learn more, so she can be the most effective teacher possible. Kari currently enrolled in the Loyola Marymount University program for Yoga and the Healing Sciences, and recently began teaching and working with the USC football team this coming season. When Kim discovered Bikram Yoga in 2003, a Fire was lit and she was inspired to empower others in their ability to change their minds, their bodies, and the consciousness with which they conduct their lives. She has worked wholeheartedly and passionately to do the work of asana to open and strengthen the body, and through the body, the mind. Kim has been Student, Teacher, Studio Owner, Presenter, Demonstrator, 5 time California State Champion, on the National stage 6 times, and Nationally ranked.
